We are currently actively working hands-on with about 40 companies across the province, including Medusa Medical Technologies, Coemergence, EastMed, GOALLINE, DementiaGuide, Clinical Logistics, Mil-Aero Electronics, ImmunoVaccine Technologies and MorSwift.

We begin by working side-by-side with clients to identify their immediate struggles and the steps needed to overcome them. Once that is achieved, together we move on to determining the sequence of strategic and tactical actions necessary for sustained competitiveness and business growth.

The challenges our clients face vary, but typically include: fundamental business planning; intellectual property identification and protection strategies; access to specialized infrastructure; implementing product development best practices; financial and accounting management; cash flow management; value proposition development; pricing strategies; competitive analysis; state-of-the-art marketing techniques; sales and distribution channel strategies; obtaining seed and venture capital; and human resource management strategies.

InNOVAcorp – Corporate Residency MBA Position

The corporate residency MBA position at InNOVAcorp offers interns an exceptionally diverse and practical work experience. While making an immediate impact on high potential early stage companies, you’ll enhance your strategic, tactical and leadership skills.

As part of the InNOVAcorp team, you will work one-on-one with one or more (number depends on the nature of the work) of our early stage clients, helping them identify and overcome hurdles to their business growth. The work will be well defined, substantial and meaningful.

In addition, as part of InNOVAcorp’s mentoring group, you will participate in other activities such as managing an ongoing client pipeline, performing due diligence, and assessing the commercialization potential of university-based discoveries.

Location

While InNOVAcorp assists high potential early stage companies across Nova Scotia, the corporate residency MBA intern will be based at our offices in downtown Halifax.
