&lt;h3&gt;Industrial and Regional Benefits (IRB) Officer&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Under the supervision of the senior Manager, the IRB Officer will assist in implementing the IRB Policy by:&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Working with other Government departments, such as the Department of National Defence, Public Works and Government Services Canada, on major military procurements;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Working closely with private industry to help ensure they maximize their participation in these muli-million dollar projects;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Presenting and explaining your advice to senior industry executives, associations and Government decision makers; &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Meeting with international companies to assist them in identifying business opportunities in Canada and for Canadian companies as part of their obligations under the IRB Policy.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In undertaking this work, you will be developing and enhancing transferable skills, such as contract negotiation, accounting and verification skills, dispute resolution, writing and researching skills, and networking skills.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3&gt;Junior Sector Development Officer&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A Junior Sector Development Officer works with a Senior Sector Development Officer to develop strategies and policies that encourage the growth and promotion of the Canadian aerospace industry. The Junior Sector Development Officer will:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Work with other Government departments to develop new strategies, policies that encourage and promote innovation in Canada&amp;rsquo;s aerospace sector;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Partner with other Government departments and industry to develop and implement trade and investment strategies to better position Canadian companies in global value chains;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Develop and maintain relationships with private industry in an effort to build an understanding of Canada industry capability and assist Canadian companies by promoting Government programs designed to assist Canadian industry;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Provide business analysis for project funding applications for the Strategic Aerospace and Defence Initiative (SADI);&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist in the development of the aerospace industry through sector development initiatives such as trade shows, missions and investment promotion.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
