Founded in November 2001, Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI) is Nova Scotia’s business development agency. We provide client-focused business solutions resulting in sustainable, value-added economic growth for the province. NSBI is the first point of contact for businesses—those operating in Nova Scotia and those in other jurisdictions that are considering locating to or expanding in the province.

NSBI focuses on helping companies identify business growth opportunities and solutions through a variety of programs and services, including: investment attraction, customized business solutions, trade development programs and trade missions, financing options, and venture capital.

Collaborating with partner organizations, NSBI offers expert business advice, sector intelligence, qualified leads in new and existing export markets, and flexible financial services offering—from term debt to venture capital and investment incentives.
